Ulysses Butterfly - these are absolutely gorgeous and it is quite
an experience walking through lush green rainforest with these iridescent blue
butterflies flitting by.

Another featured local visitor of Mission Beach is the Cairns
Birdwing butterfly. These can grow as large as your hand and are quite tame - if
you are quiet enough!.

Charlie and Davey on the front of our 4.8m
boat looking east with dolphins just off the bow. We were about 3km from
Dunk Island, water crystal clear & very warm. Typical winters day in
Mission Beach!!!
