The apartments come fully equipped including plenty of DVD's, books and kids games.
Walk 120m or so to beautiful Mission Beach - 14km of gorgeous sandy
beach with not a mangrove or mudflat within sight!!! Dunk Island is
located a km or so across from the beach and the local Dunk Island
Water Taxi departs from the beach about 500m up the road.
A 5 star
rated property it's not, however, for the majority of people these
holiday apartments will hold more appeal - for a start, you're not
crammed into a small motel room or resort style apartment with one
hundred other families located one or 2 walls away - this is a small
block of just 3 such apartments with a decent size backyard, frontyard,
undercover parking for your vehicle and offstreet parking for a decent
size boat or 2.
Secondly,
unlike a motel or normal resort style apartment, these apartments are
not only nicely furnished BUT also fitted and kitted out with a decent
range of accessories that will help make your holiday stay more
enjoyable - as in 2 TV's AND 2 DVD players in each unit so you are not
fighting with the kids over who gets to watch reruns of Hi-5.
On top of that the fully equipped kitchens come with a decent set of
stainless steel saucepans and cooking implements plus sandwich makers,
milkshake makers etc etc.
Thirdly,
these apartments are specifically set to be holiday letting
properties - you won't have the owners ( who are Mission
Beach locals ) knocking on your doors - they have purpose aimed this
property at the holiday rental market and have gone out of their way to
make this place appealing to holiday renters.
There is
a skate park a few minutes walk away, plenty of level roads
for bicycles and definitely bring your fishing gear and try your luck - rather interestingly this property
is located only a couple of minutes drive from a few very good fishing
spots ... Bingil Bay, Clump Point Jetty, Clump Point boat ramp etc.

holiday apartment on the mainland and daytrip to Dunk Island.
Local shopping centre is about 2km and includes
Supermarket, Butcher, Chemist, Newsagency, Surf shop, Video/DVD hire
shop, Service Station, Cafe and decent Indian restaurant. North Mission
Beach is about 8km away and has great quality restaurants, newsagent,
supermarket, full Post Office, bottle shop, pub, nightclub, heaps of
clothing shops etc etc. Miles away from anywhere yet right in the
middle of everything!
Great Barrier Reef is just offshore and on the
mainland there are so many crystal clear creeks and rainforest walks to
explore that you'll need months to get half of them underway.
Mission Beach is a central base for many of the major tourist
operations so take your pick of Skydiving ( tandem ), white water
rafting down the Tully River, Great Barrier Reef charters and dive
boats, fishing charter, crocodile spotting expeditions - oh there are
just so many things to do up here!!!!
